What a success the Repair Cafés in Wells have been over a number of years!

The events are not only a chance to meet and chat over a cup of tea or coffee, and a delicious piece of cake, but also the opportunity to bring along an item that needs fixing. Our fixers have a go at repairing most things brought along on the spot with you watching to learn the skills.

10am - 12.30pm at St Thomas’ Church Hall, Wells, BA5 2UZ

Dates for 2024: 30th November

Dates for 2025: 25th January, 29th March, 31st May, 26th July, 27th September, 29th November

‘It is just a lovely feeling to know that, by facilitating these repairs, we are contributing to limiting and discouraging waste. And if  in the process we also have the opportunity to make a connection with our local community, talking to like-minded people and enjoying a slice of home-made cake... surely everyone is a winner!’ - Marcella, Volunteer
