Brush with Bamboo

Biodegradable, Renewable, Sustainable.

The first plastic toothbrush was made on the 1930’s but since it takes 400 years for the to decompose nearly every single toothbrush made since then are still hanging around in some form, somewhere polluting our ecosystem.

By 2050 the oceans will contain more plastic that fish by weight so if there’s an easily adopted simple switch like swapping your plastic toothbrush for bamboo why not give it a try?

Bamboo toothbrushes are an eco-friendly alternative because bamboo is a natural plant, fully biodegradable and as one of the fastest growing plants on the planet, is renewable and sustainable.

Most bamboo toothbrushes have nylon bristles so they’ll brush your teeth as well as your plastic brush.

When it’s time for a new brush don’t for get to remove the bristles before composting the handle.
